The terms for using Applyline.

Draft — pending legal review. This page describes how Applyline works today in plain language. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before it is final.

Last updated September 24, 2026

Applyline helps you find jobs, prepares applications from your own résumé, and, when you ask it to, submits them in your name on employers’ application forms. These terms explain what you are authorizing, what you are responsible for, and what we are responsible for.

Read them together with our Privacy Policy.

The service

Applyline (“Applyline”, “we”, “us”) provides a web workspace at applyline.ai that lets you:

  • discover openings from employers’ public career boards;
  • keep one or more résumé profiles and prepare tailored résumés, cover letters and answers, with help from AI;
  • submit applications on supported employer application forms, after your review or automatically under rules you set;
  • track applications, confirmations and employer replies, including through an Applyline application address where available and, if you connect them, your Gmail or Outlook inbox.

Features can depend on configuration and on the employer’s site. Not every employer form can be submitted automatically; for those you can download your materials and apply on the employer’s page yourself.

Who can use Applyline

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18, to create an account. You may use Applyline only to look for work for yourself. You may not use it to apply on behalf of another person.

Beta status

Applyline is in beta. Some features are incomplete, may change or be withdrawn, and may occasionally be unavailable. Registration may be limited to invited people. We will try to tell you in advance about changes that materially affect you, but we can’t promise that every feature will remain available.

Your account

  • Give us accurate sign-up details and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity in your account.
  • Tell us promptly at privacy@applyline.ai (address to be confirmed) if you think someone else has used your account.
  • One person, one account. Accounts can’t be shared or sold.

Applying in your name

Each Auto Apply search has its own setting, and you choose which one it uses:

  • Apply & Review. Applyline prepares each application, and nothing is submitted until you approve that exact version.
  • Fully Auto and Tailored Auto. Applyline prepares and submits matching applications without asking you each time, using your résumé profile, the standard answers you set for the search, and your saved answers. If a form asks something it can’t answer from those, it sets that posting aside instead of guessing.

By approving an application, or by turning on an automatic search, you authorize Applyline to fill in and submit employers’ application forms in your name, using an automated browser operated by Applyline, with the information and documents in your account. This includes creating or signing in to an employer’s applicant account and entering verification codes the employer sends you, where you have enabled those features.

If you opt in to a search’s standing answers, you also authorize Applyline to give the answers you chose there, for example confirming that you have read an employer’s privacy notice and that your application is true and complete, or answering voluntary self-identification questions as your profile states. Only choose those answers if they are true for every employer the search may reach. You can change or turn off a search at any time; a submission already in progress can’t be recalled.

You remain the applicant. The employer receives the application from you, and your relationship with them is your own.

Accurate information

Applyline builds applications only from what you give it: your résumé, profile and answers. It is designed never to invent experience, qualifications, employers or dates, and drafts go through evidence checks against your résumé. AI can still make mistakes.

You are responsible for the information in your account and for every application sent in your name, whether you approved it individually or through an automatic search. Keep your résumé profiles and answers accurate and up to date, and review what was sent. Don’t ask Applyline to state anything untrue.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Applyline to:

  • submit false, misleading or someone else’s information, or apply for someone else;
  • get around an employer’s CAPTCHA, bot checks, sign-in or other verification, or any limit an employer places on applications. Applyline doesn’t bypass these, and when one appears it stops and asks for you;
  • harass employers or recruiters, or send spam or unsolicited messages;
  • break the law or the terms of the sites you apply through, or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • probe, overload or interfere with Applyline, access other people’s data, or reverse engineer or resell the service;
  • use automated means to access Applyline other than the features and integration tokens we provide.

Allowance, credits and plans

  • Every new account receives 100 free automated applications, granted once. Finding jobs, preparing and downloading materials, and tracking don’t use it.
  • Only an automated submission the employer confirms uses one application. Drafts, applications you submit yourself, manual tracking and failed attempts don’t. A queued submission reserves one until it finishes.
  • When your allowance runs out, Auto Apply stops starting new automated applications. The rest of your workspace stays available.
  • Paid plans are coming soon. When they launch, their prices, allowances and renewal terms will be shown before you check out, payment will be handled by our payment processor, and additional billing terms (including cancellation and refunds) will apply. We won’t charge you for anything you haven’t chosen at checkout.
  • Allowance and credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred.

No guarantee of results

Applyline helps you apply, but employers make their own decisions. We don’t guarantee that any application will be received, read, answered or successful, or that you will get an interview or a job. Job listings come from third parties, and we can’t guarantee that a listing is accurate, current or still open.

Employer and third-party sites

Applications are submitted on employers’ own sites and applicant systems, and you can connect services such as Gmail or Outlook. Those sites and services are run by others, under their own terms and privacy notices, and we aren’t responsible for them. An employer’s handling of your application is governed by that employer’s policies.

Your content

You own your résumé, profiles, answers and other content you add (“your content”). You give Applyline permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the service for you: for example, to prepare your applications, send them to the employers you or your searches choose, and publish your portfolio if you choose to. You can export your data or delete your account from Settings at any time.

Materials Applyline prepares for you are yours to use. Applyline’s own software, design and brand remain ours.

Ending your use

You can stop using Applyline and delete your account from Settings at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others or the service at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where reasonable we will tell you first and let you export your data. We may also end the beta or the service with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers and liability

Applyline is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability.

To the extent the law allows, Applyline will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost opportunities, earnings or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Applyline changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Applyline after that, the updated terms apply.
